Be Home Décor makes tremendous efforts towards sustainable product production as well as social responsibility. This has been true since they first started the company fifteen years ago. Their goal is to eventually have all of their products sourced either from sustainable material or at least to be produced sustainably ( with water recycling, using green energy, truly natural and non toxic materials.). It is a long journey to get there and they continue to spend a lot of time educating their craftspeople as well as trying to find new and innovative material or more sustainable production techniques. 

•More than 90% of the Be Home glassware is made out of recycled glass. 
•Most of their wood trays, platters and photo frames are made out of reclaimed wood. 
•Be Home is working toward being 100% plastic-free in all of their packaging by mid 2022.
•Their Tam stoneware is produced in Vietnam by a woman-owned group that only employs women. All pieces are hand-finished in natural clay and therefore unique. 
•Even though Be Home is a small family business and do not own our building in the US, they are actively lobbying their landlord to put solar panels on the roof of their warehouse. They are also partnering and investing with their makers so that they can use more solar energy instead of coal in production. They have a goal with their production group in India making metalware to use only solar panels in the next 12 months. 
•All of their wood is legally harvested from forests run by the local government in Southeast Asia and South America. They request full chain of custody paperwork on all of their wood purchases from overseas. Be Home is actively demonstrating their commitment to sustainable business practices as well as to providing us with the most beautifully crafted and environmentally responsible products they can.
