Plus, the brand is dedicated to reducing excessive waste by reducing packaging and upcycling any synthetic materials they use. These throws are designed and woven with the environment in mind. The alpaca is collected by the local artisans, then hand washed and sorted by color for the various throw designs. The trimmings from weaving throws are also recycled back into making the recycled fiber throws you see on our website. BlackSaw follows fair trade protocols, and hire hearing impaired at their weaving facility. The throws can be repaired or upcycled until they bio-decompose.
