Vejibags are ethically-made, certified US organically-grown and manufactured from100% undyed, unbleached cotton. The organic French terry cotton is grown by the Texas Organic Cotton Marketing Cooperative, and then hand-sewn by employee-owned Opportunity Threads, in Valdese, North Carolina. Vejibag is a small family-run company that intentionally sources and manufactures with like-minded companies working as locally as possible. Their manufacturer is a worker-owned cooperative working to become a zero-waste company, and their bags are packed by a non-profit vocational training facility. Every step of Vejibag production is sustainably and ethically planned and actualized, making them one of our 5 scored companies.
